Current Openings: Recruitment and Retention Manager

Snow Queen Winter Management, one of Vancouver’s largest winter service providers, is seeking a part-time Recruitment and Retention Manager with experience to join our team.

This contractor position provides flexibility for those looking for a part-time position, with opportunities for advancement. It is primarily a remote position, with some hours required at our Port Coquitlam office and at events in the Lower Mainland. Hours are generally 10-30 hrs per week depending on seasonal tasks and projects. A candidate should have a vehicle.

Rate: Starting at $24 /hr – based on experience

The Recruitment and Retention Manager performs a variety of management functions and reports to the Director of Resource Management. Duties include:

  • Contractor communications, calls, and emails
  • Generating and organizing prospects and leads
  • Recruitment and onboarding of seasonal contractors and some staff
  • Screening, following up with and qualifying prospects
  • Contract Negotiations & Management
  • Document Collection
  • Record Keeping
  • Check in calls with contractors
  • Evaluating, improving and supporting the contractors experience with Snow Queen
  • Building and implementing a retention plan for contractors that reduces barriers to their return
  • Communicating & collaborating with other departments
  • Providing information and reports to the Director of Resource Management & the Operations Team
  • Other various tasks that may be assigned
