FAQ2025-10-01T02:33:55-07:00
Do you offer services outside of regular business hours?2025-08-25T18:39:04-07:00

Yes, we do. Our Operations Department is monitoring the weather around the clock during the winter season. Whether it’s an overnight snowfall or an early morning freeze, we’re ready to go when your site needs attention.

How fast can you respond when the snow starts falling?2025-08-25T18:39:22-07:00

We use several sources to closely monitor the quickly changing weather. We also have proprietary software that alerts us to unforecasted freezing events. As soon as the snow starts, we use site assessments, digital CCTV live streams and utilize our team across our service area to provide real time updates. Depending on the situation, we dispatch to start our service routes once snow has started to accumulate.

Do I need to call every time service is needed?2025-08-25T18:39:41-07:00

Nope! We have got you covered day or night.

What parts of the property do you clear?2025-08-25T18:39:57-07:00

We handle all essential areas that were identified in your service area aerial at the beginning of your property onboarding. In most cases, it includes: parking lots, walkways, stairs, ramps, entrances, and exits. Every property is mapped and reviewed before the season starts so our crews know exactly where to go and what to prioritize.

What kinds of properties do you work with?2025-08-25T18:40:18-07:00

We are equipped to work with all larger or multi-unit sites, including strata complexes, industrial, and commercial properties. Each client is unique, so we customize the aerial and scope of work.

If we get a bad winter, will the cost go up?2025-07-30T17:45:59-07:00

No. Our flat-rate contracts are locked in for the full season. No matter how many snowfalls hit, the price stays the same from start to finish.

Can I get proof that my site was serviced?2025-08-25T18:40:51-07:00

Yes, you can. Every visit is recorded with GPS tracking, photos are taken before and after service, and we collect time-stamped logs. If you ever need documentation for insurance or liability purposes, we can send detailed service reports on request. If you are requesting detailed service records, it is an additional fee of $299.00.

We ONLY apply de-icer on a property when it is necessary. The Lower Mainland of BC is a rainforest with intermittent rain, high humidity, and cold systems that move in overnight, requiring a complex and multi-faceted approach to when and how de-icing is completed. We use a 3-check system to review de-icing needs before every application. First, we check past, current, and upcoming weather conditions to review if the previous de-icing will be sufficient. Second, we dispatch localized Site Assessors to determine how our de-icer is performing in specific regions. Finally, if required, we complete an individual visit to every property we service. If our crews determine a service is not required, we provide a FREE site assessment instead.

What temperature do you apply Ice Melt at?2025-08-25T18:47:26-07:00
